REBOOT

Man, I feel like everyone I’ve been talking to lately has been getting refreshed and renewed. It’s a pretty awesome thing going on. I feel like we are in a season where God is just rebooting minds. Just like a computer/laptop when it’s frozen, not loading much, having that colorful beach ball of death rollin for eternity…. sometimes you gotta stop waiting and reboot that sucka. I feel like the Lord is rebooting us so that we may be be refreshed again, same purpose (to seek His Kingdom first and righteousness), but with such a speed and momentum that is in flow with the Holy Spirit.

I was talkin with my parents and Petey K the other night and we were talking about new wine, how it is supposed to be put into new wineskins as it says in the Gospels (Matt,Mark, & Luke):

Luke 5:37-38

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the new wine will burst the skins and it will be spilled out, and the skins will be ruined.

“But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.

The Holy Spirit is doing something new so we can’t get caught up in our old style of doing things because God is the business of bringing us into a new revelation of His presence. I always want to be in the season. ripe for what God wants to do.

How do we know this is God’s new season of movement?

It is according to His word and other people will be excited for the same thing your feeling! :D I feel like it comes through prayer and searching deep inside your heart for the Living God alone, removing all the “things” in and of this world.

Another revelation God was giving me as I was on the phone with a friend was a surfing analogy…. pretty sweet.

It’s like getting on a new wave. we can’t continue riding the same wave forever because that wave will soon come to an end as it hits the shore. But you must swim out again, against all the other waves big and small and wait on the Lord, so that when you see a big wave coming you can catch it, stand and ride with the authority of the Lord. HAHAH i made this sound pretty dramatic…. but i think this is seriously how God works man. YEAH His character is unchanging, but He is doing new things everyday!

Praise God that He is never boring, same old God, but He is in the business of making all things new.

On side note:

- It’s so fun praying for Nic/China team because it’s like I’m actually with them as PJ continues to give us LIVE updates with his iPhone! PTL!
