Pros n Cons of Having a Cast

< my xrays when i got into ER last week

I'm going to begin with the Cons because Errr'body loves the bad news before the good news, right? Right.

Cons:
- I eat, shower, wipe my poo, dress, type, blog, write papers, chat, facebook, etc... at half the speed if not less, than I normally do.
- I can't play basketball. :(
- I can't take notes in class (will turn into pro.) ;)
- I can't fully strum, hammer, etc on my guitar.
- I've come to realize just how fragile I can be. (physically, emotionally, and mentally)
- People stare at you.

...and i honestly cannot think of anymore ...not too bad right?

Pros:
- I can still eat, shower, wipe my poo, dress, type, blog, etc... nonetheless
- I don't have to take notes because my friend from class got my back. to top that, I made a friend in my bio class.
- I can still play the guitar and even perform ;)
- Because I'm weak and fragile, He is STRONGand MIGHTY!
- I'm becoming ambidextrous.
- People stare at you and ask you what happened. not gonna lie, I like the attention.
- I've become more grateful and thankful that I have two hands and that God has blessed me with amazing parents and family in general for support! (yes, i get royal treatment because of this cast that i actually feel spoiled.)
- I'm just more thankful in general.
- This whole experience has been and is still becoming a great testimony of what God has been and is doing in my life.
- God is glorified. :)

Doc said I would need surgery to line my bones up again for it to heal properly. xrays were takin within 30 minutes of each other. my xrays after praying and casting up. >

some more PROs with cherry on top:
- did not need surgery! :D PTL!!!!!
- Went to a followup appointment today, bone is still in place and healing properly by the grace of God.
